OUR STORY
From a father’s dedication to passing on his knowledge, to his sons’ journey of becoming passionate martial artists. This is the story of three generations united by their love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and their commitment to sharing its transformative power with others.

THE FOUNDATION
It all began with Lowell Anderson at the legendary Gracie Academy. Under the direct tutelage of the founding family of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Lowell immersed himself in the art, philosophy, and teaching methodology that would shape generations of martial artists. He became one of only a handful of Americans at the time to achieve his black belt. Lowell tested and displayed the effectiveness of jiu-jitsu in the famous Gracie challenge matches, fighting in and winning every match he was part of. These victories demonstrated the transformative power of the art, creating ripples of conversation and respect throughout the global martial arts community that continue to this day.

PASSING THE TORCH
Lowell began training his sons, Elias and Laird Anderson, instilling not just technique, but the deeper principles of respect, discipline, and continuous learning. The brothers grew up on the mats, developing an unbreakable bond with the art and each other.

THE UNDEFEATED PATH
While Elias focused on jiu-jitsu competition, Laird pursued his passion for mixed martial arts. Starting as an undefeated amateur, he transitioned to professional competition, maintaining his perfect record while competing in Bellator MMA — one of the premier MMA organizations. In 2023, Laird earned his fourth consecutive professional victory, showing how the principles learned on the jiu-jitsu mats translate across combat sports. His MMA journey continues as he works toward his goal of becoming a World Champion.
